Prince Harry reportedly showed up to King Charles summit armed with photos of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet

New details have surfaced about Prince Harry’s long-awaited reunion with King Charles, with reports claiming the Duke of Sussex “loved” being back in the UK this week.

The father and son met for about an hour on Wednesday at Clarence House in London, marking their first meeting in more than 18 months. Harry reportedly left around 6.15pm, heading straight to a reception tied to his Invictus Games organisation.

A Personal Touch: Photos of Archie and Lilibet

According to Page Six, Harry came prepared for the private tea with something deeply personal — family photos and videos of Archie and Lilibet.

“Harry came to the private tea at his father’s London residence, Clarence House, Wednesday with family photos and video on his phone, we’re told,” the outlet reported.

The King has seen Archie, now 6, only a handful of times before Harry and Meghan moved to California in 2020. As for Princess Lilibet, 4, Charles is believed to have met her just once, during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

Harry’s Public Words on the King

Later that evening, during an Invictus Games-related event, Harry was asked about his father’s health. His reply was short but warm: “Yes, he’s great, thank you.”

That simple exchange marked a significant contrast to his BBC interview back in May, where he admitted that communication with his father had been strained.

“There have been so many disagreements, differences between me and some of my family,” Harry said at the time. “This current situation that has been ongoing for five years with regard to human life and safety is the sticking point. It is the only thing that’s left.”

Despite the reunion, palace insiders remain cautious about how much progress was actually made.

“How can you resolve that much s*** in 55 minutes?” one source close to Buckingham Palace told Page Six, casting doubt on whether father and son truly settled their differences.
