Meghan Markle is celebrating happy news this week as her close friend, entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima, announced she is expecting her third child.
The IT Cosmetics co-founder, 48, revealed on Instagram that she and her husband Paulo Lima are set to welcome another baby later this year after what she described as a “10+ year journey filled with fertility challenges and miscarriages.”

Alongside a smiling photo with Paulo and ultrasound images, Jamie wrote: “We’re SO excited to share we’re expecting our third baby! We feel so incredibly blessed… Thank you so much for your prayers and love and support.” Meghan, 44, showed her support by liking the post.
A supportive friendship
Meghan and Jamie have been close friends for years. In April, the Duchess of Sussex made her first-ever podcast appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, where the pair spoke openly about Meghan’s As Ever lifestyle brand, her family life with Prince Harry, and motherhood.
During that episode, Jamie fondly recalled a thoughtful gift basket Meghan once sent her, complete with ice cream and homemade strawberry sauce, to cheer her up during a stressful time.
Gifts and milestones
Their friendship has continued with small but meaningful gestures. For Jamie’s 48th birthday in July, Meghan sent a gift box with her new As Ever rosé wine, peaches and flowers. Jamie called it “the most magical birthday basket,” adding: “Our friendship is a gift, as is your beautiful soul.”
The Duchess’s thoughtful support during Jamie’s pregnancy announcement has only underlined the closeness of their bond.
