A body language expert has revealed insights into how Kate Middleton appeared to feel when she stepped out with a striking new look earlier this week.

The Princess of Wales first debuted her refreshed style on 24 August during a family outing with Prince William. Since then, royal watchers have been eager to see more of her updated hair color, which is noticeably lighter than her usual brunette tone—though still far from platinum blonde.

On 4 September, Kate and William visited the gardens of the Natural History Museum in London, marking their first joint official engagement since the summer holidays.

Kate styled her hair in loose curls and wore a brown blazer layered over a white blouse, looking polished yet relaxed for the outing.

Speaking to Tyla on behalf of Betfair Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton observed: “Ever the professionals, both Kate and William look extremely confident during this outing – but especially Kate. William is quite happy to let Kate take the lead here. They look very happy to be back to their public duties.”

He added that the couple appeared completely in sync: “The pair could be seen walking at the same pace, in complete unison with matching confidence.”

According to Stanton, Kate’s confidence was clear: “Non-verbally, Kate’s confidence shows through a lot of open palm gestures and her genuine smiles. You can see her laugh lines which tells me she’s really interested in the people she’s meeting. There is no ego to her gestures at all.”
