More than 500 volunteers have already participated, providing valuable data for the airline. Finnair spokesperson Kaisa Tikkanen stressed that the initiative focuses on enhancing safety and efficiency, rather than singling out individuals. The practice aims to refine the average weights used for flight calculations, which are typically based on standardized figures from aviation authorities.
