A touching video of Prince William and his son Prince George has been making the rounds online after the pair made a joint appearance at the Champions League quarter-final last night.
The adorable clip shared on social media has sparked widespread discussion, with many viewers pointing out a surprising resemblance between young George and another member of the royal family.
In case you missed it, 42-year-old Prince William took his eldest son George, 11, whom he shares with wife Kate Middleton, to see their favorite team, Aston Villa, face off against Paris St-Germain in the first leg of the quarter-final.
Joining them at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday (April 9) was William’s longtime friend, Thomas van Straubenzee.

Although Villa unfortunately lost 3-1, a clip of Prince William and Prince George celebrating their team’s goal has since gone viral on social media.
In the video, William is seen throwing his fists into the air in excitement after Morgan Rogers scored, then pulling George — who was wearing a purple Villa scarf — into a warm embrace.
However, what’s caught the attention of many viewers isn’t just the sweet father-son moment. Some people believe George is starting to resemble another iconic member of the Royal Family — his late grandmother, Princess Diana, who tragically passed away in August 1997 in a car crash in Paris when William was just 15.
“This is too cute!! Aww,” one user gushed on X (formerly Twitter). “Also Prince George looking a lot like his grandma Princess Diana, even the mannerism.”
Another chimed in: “George looks a lot like Diana here.”
A third added: “George looks very much like PDiana there.”
Meanwhile, others appreciated seeing a more relaxed and joyful side of the Royals in public.

“I love this! This is where Prince William can really cut loose and blow off steam,” one person praised the duo for their enthusiastic reaction.
With a laughing emoji, another chimed in: “George be like ‘dad stop plss’.”
“Love that passionate response by both of them, but especially William! It’s so nice to see!” a third fan added.
Someone else remarked: “This is just a dad loving the moment him and his son’s team scored in a big match. Beautiful to see.”
Another gushed: “Omg the look of pure joy!!!!! Love it!!”
Prince William, the future King, frequently shares his love of football with his eldest son George, especially during major tournaments.
The pair were memorably seen side-by-side in the Royal box at Berlin’s Olympiastadion last summer, witnessing England’s heartbreaking loss to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.
When it comes to club football, the father-son duo are devoted Aston Villa supporters—William himself grew up attending Villa matches, introduced to the team by close family friends.
