Princess Kate’ sh0cking ‘act’ toward Meghan Markle on her 44th birthday

King Charles is tipped to mark Meghan Markle’s upcoming birthday with a polite gesture, despite ongoing tensions within the royal family. As Meghan prepares to turn 44 on August 4, speculation is growing about whether her in-laws will acknowledge the day.

A message from the king and queen

Former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for the family between 2004 and 2011, believes King Charles and Queen Camilla will not let the occasion pass without acknowledgment.

“As far as the royal family congratulating or wishing a happy birthday, I believe the king and queen will wish her a happy birthday,” he said. “When it comes to politeness and manners, they are at the top of the game. I still think they will honour it.”

While Prince William is reportedly unlikely to reach out personally, Harrold suggested that Catherine, Princess of Wales, may send a short message on behalf of them both.

Plans from Harry and Meghan

Grant Harrold expects that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will highlight Meghan’s birthday on social media, inviting warm wishes from fans. “I’m sure we’ll see Harry do something on social media,” he said. “Everyone deserves birthday wishes.”

As for Harry’s gift, Harrold believes it will be both meaningful and unique. “He’s quite generous. I think he’ll buy her jewellery or take her on holiday. Maybe something quirky, like a fun title or an unusual experience — the royals are known for giving gifts that money cannot easily buy.”

Steps toward reconciliation

Beyond the birthday celebrations, reports suggest Prince Harry has been making efforts to rebuild his relationship with his father. According to the Mail on Sunday, he has offered to share his upcoming schedule with Buckingham Palace to avoid any clashes with royal events, a move seen as an olive branch.

Earlier this month, sources claimed Harry’s team held a private meeting with the king’s aides in London, sparking hope that relations may slowly improve.
