Prince Harry and Meghan Markle set record straight amid rumours about son Archie going to famous school

Amid rumors that their son, Prince Archie, is attending a renowned school across the pond, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally clarified the situation.

People are eager to watch what their parents do with their education as the royal children grow up, some of them are now in high school.

Even though Archie is only six years old, there have already been rumors that Meghan and Harry intend to send him to school in the UK. Specifically, he will be attending Eton College, which fees an incredible £21,099.60 per half-term and is the same school that Harry and his older brother Prince William attended.

A representative for the Sussexes has recently come out to end all of the rumors, though.

“I can confirm that the Duke has not put his son’s name down for Eton and has no plans to send his son there,” the spokesperson told PEOPLE on Wednesday (24 September).

According to a different Daily Mail story, Harry had discussed his desire to send his kids to school in the UK with a friend.

Royal fans were eager to learn which secondary school William and Kate Middleton would send their oldest kid to after George turned twelve in July.

The couple has yet to make a public announcement revealing where George will spend the next phase of his education, but we’re confident they have already worked out such a decision behind closed doors.

The public’s response appears to be the cause of this, according to GB News.

The site noted that because of the potential disruption, “Kensington Palace has delayed its announcement of where George will attend secondary school.”

Not all royal specialists agree, but analysts still believe Eton will be the most likely choice because of the Royal Family’s long history of attendance and its familiarity with the required security procedures.

“One of the things that the Royal Family have got to really take into consideration is the security arrangements,” states Melanie Sanderson, managing editor of The Good Schools Guide, via The i Paper.

She added: “One of the reasons that I think he will go to Eton [is because] they are well versed there in educating senior royals.”
