Meghan Markle has publicly reacted to Taylor Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce—news that coincidentally overshadowed the Duchess of Sussex’s latest lifestyle launches.

On Tuesday, Taylor Swift revealed that Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce had proposed, sharing a series of romantic engagement photos taken in a blooming floral garden.
The 34-year-old singer proudly displayed her sparkling diamond ring as Kelce got down on one knee. The photos were captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The announcement came at the same time Meghan was unveiling season two of her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan and launching new items from her As Ever brand.
Rather than ignore the overlap, Meghan acknowledged Swift and Kelce’s happy news by liking the singer’s Instagram post—a subtle but graceful gesture of support.

According to The Mail, Swift’s ring is believed to be an Old Mine Brilliant Cut designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry in New York.
For the shoot, Swift wore a striped silk-blend dress by Ralph Lauren, strappy heeled sandals, and her $27,300 (AUD $42,022) Cartier Santos Demoiselle watch. Kelce opted for a polished yet relaxed look in a Ralph Lauren polo, khaki shorts, and brown suede loafers.

Meanwhile, Meghan pressed ahead with her own projects. Just one hour before Swift’s engagement post, she shared a playful clip from With Love, Meghan featuring celebrity chef José Andrés.
