Lip reader reveals brutal comment Prince Louis made to dad Prince William during rare public appearance

A lip reader has shared a cheeky remark Prince Louis allegedly made to his father, Prince William, during their rare public outing on May 5th.

The royal family, including Kate Middleton, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, attended the VE Day parade in London to mark 80 years since Germany’s formal surrender in WWII.

While sitting next to William, the newly-seven-year-old Prince Louis was spotted brushing raindrops off his father’s shoulder. This prompted William to turn toward him and, in what appeared to be a playful moment, give him a tap on the leg.

The pair shared a few words, with lip reading expert Nicola Hickling telling The Sun that William said to Louis: “Look at this, I think it’s going to be quite wet today.”

Louis then reportedly asked William a cheeky six-word question: “Wasn’t this supposed to be fun?”

William is said to have replied, “It is, son,” and also added, “You will never forget this,” before explaining how the parade would unfold.

“They will come along here, and then go towards there, and then we will make our way back,” he explained.

William also mentioned, “It’s not going to be long, and I want you to be taking an interest.”

The lip reader said that George, 11, then joined in and said: “I’ve got something in my eye.”

Nicola also looked into a conversation between Kate and Charlotte, 10.

“Doesn’t papa look smart today?” Kate reportedly asked her daughter.

Some sharp-eyed viewers watching the parade at home noticed a funny moment between Louis and George.

During Sky News’ coverage, a camera zoomed in on the two brothers as George tried to fix his hair, running his fingers through it to move it out of his face.

A moment later, Louis seemed to copy him, exaggerating the gesture, which has led many royal fans to rush to social media to share their reactions.

On X, one user commented:
“Prince Louis copying his brother Prince George is so funny.”

Another person wrote: “I can’t deal with Prince Louis. Look at him mimicking Prince George and adding some ‘snazz’ to it. He is truly the moment,” while a third joked: “That child IS EXTRA.”

A fourth user said: “The prince of trolling. Had me rolling when I saw it.”

Someone else shared: “Prince Louis copying his brother Prince George is so funny.”

And a final royal fan added: “Prince Louis is so freaking funny.”
