Prince Louis ‘copies’ brother George’s grown-up gesture during VE Day commemorations

Prince Louis has once again charmed royal fans, this time by copying his older brother Prince George in a fun moment during the VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations.

The seven-year-old was seen closely watching his 11-year-old brother as they sat together on a special dais outside Buckingham Palace for Monday’s historic Victory in Europe Day event.

Joined by their sister, Princess Charlotte, 10, and parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, the young royals took part in a national moment of remembrance.

Prince Louis and Prince George were part of the VE Day celebrations.

During the military parade, Prince George was spotted brushing his hair out of his face after a gust of wind blew through the seating area.

A few seconds later, Prince Louis followed suit, but he added a dramatic twist that had fans laughing.

“I cannot with Prince Louis,” one fan tweeted with the viral clip. “Look at him copying Prince George and making it his own. He is truly the moment.”

Social media was filled with praise for the playful royal.

“Prince Louis is our spirit animal,” one fan said, while another exclaimed, “Louis is THE ROYAL.”

“I really hope this kid NEVER changes,” another commented. “He’s just so fun-loving, he doesn’t even realize it.”

“Prince George looked shocked too. Hahaha! I can only imagine them behind the scenes!” a fourth fan joked.

“He’s such a star!” another agreed. “His antics always make me smile.”

For the event, Prince George looked grown-up in a navy suit, light shirt, and royal blue tie. Louis was equally sharp in a well-fitted suit.

Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, wore a familiar blue and green coat that was first seen at the 2023 Christmas service in Sandringham.

Kate Middleton wore a stunning purple Emilia Wickstead coat paired with a matching pillbox hat, while Prince William was in full military attire.

The family was spotted walking together to their seats, with George confidently leading the way, followed by his siblings and father.

The VE Day commemorations came just days after Prince Harry’s explosive BBC interview.

In the interview, Harry claimed that his father “won’t speak to him” and expressed doubts about returning to the UK due to concerns over security.

Royal insiders reportedly hope that the visibility and unity of the senior royals at these significant national events will help “refocus” attention away from family tensions and highlight the monarchy’s positive role in public life.

King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh also attended the ceremony.

The celebrations and events will continue until May 8, the official anniversary of the Allies’ victory in Europe during World War II.
