Meghan Markle Shares Her Most Personal Photos Yet of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet — and Their Matching Red Hair!

Meghan Markle is opening up in a personal way!

On Sunday, April 27, the 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex shared some heartfelt new photos of her children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, whom she shares with her husband, Prince Harry. The images captured the children’s red hair, which they’ve inherited from their father, gleaming in the sunlight.

“Sunday kind of love…with my little loves,” Meghan wrote in a sweet caption accompanying her Instagram post.

The post featured three photos in total. The first showed Meghan smiling while gently touching a large pink flower, with Lilibet by her side. The picture captured the back of Lilibet’s head, showcasing her long, red hair.

Another photo showed Archie from behind as he examined some pink flowers, and the last image showed him holding a flower in front of his face.

While Meghan has recently given fans a peek into her personal life through her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, where she shares tips on cooking, gardening, and hosting, it is rare for her to share photos of her children.

In March, Meghan posted a never-before-seen photo of Lilibet as part of an Instagram carousel for International Women’s Day. The image showed her daughter on a boat, facing away from the camera, cradled in her father’s arms.

“Happy International Women’s Day!” Meghan wrote in the post. “Celebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day.”

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, timed with the release of her Netflix series, Meghan spoke about motherhood.

“Five years ago, Archie was only 8 or 9 months old, so my life has changed so much,” she shared. “Anyone who has children will tell you, it’s a huge evolution as a woman during that time.”

Looking ahead to the next five or ten years, Meghan reflected, “Can you imagine? This is just the beginning. Life is full of surprises. And my gosh, in 10 years, Archie will be driving!”

Just days earlier, on April 23, Meghan spoke at the TIME100 Summit in New York City, sharing her excitement about returning home to California because Archie was about to lose his first tooth.

Discussing the balance between motherhood and her professional responsibilities, Meghan expressed how important both were to her, noting that Archie’s impending lost tooth was just as significant. “It’s about to happen, and I just hope I’m back home in time for it!” she told the audience.
