Meghan Markle Shares Rare Video of Princess Lilibet at Home — Playing Candy Land with ‘Auntie’ Serena Williams

Meghan Markle recently gave fans a glimpse into a special moment with her daughter, Princess Lilibet!

On Saturday, March 1, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared candid photos on her Instagram Stories of 3-year-old Lilibet spending time with her “auntie,” Serena Williams, at home. The occasion was a celebration ahead of the launch of Meghan’s new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.

In a heartwarming video, Lilibet was seen wearing a pink top and floral leggings while standing next to Williams, 43, who was clapping enthusiastically. The pair appeared to be enjoying a customized Candy Land board game on a coffee table.

“When the aunties come to celebrate … and to play! Love you @serenawilliams,” Meghan wrote over the clip, which was set to Bill Withers’ Lovely Day.

Another clip showed Lilibet and Williams continuing their game while Meghan, dressed in a relaxed navy-blue outfit, watched. In the background, a pink box labeled Archie & Lili Candy Land was visible, a nod to both Lilibet and her 5-year-old brother, Prince Archie.

“3 days until the party begins. All are invited @netflix,” Meghan captioned the post, referencing her upcoming Netflix series set to premiere on March 4. She wrapped up her Instagram updates with a black-and-white photo of her embracing Williams.

Williams later reposted the video of her playing with Lilibet, adding “💕” over the top, as well as the touching embrace with Meghan.

The two women have maintained a close friendship since first meeting at the Super Bowl in 2010. Most recently, they were seen together attending the Paley Honors Fall Gala in December 2024, where they supported their friend Tyler Perry as he was recognized for his contributions to entertainment.

Meghan, who shares Lilibet and Archie with Prince Harry, had previously featured her daughter in February on the website for her new lifestyle brand, As Ever. The intimate image showed Meghan holding Lilibet’s hand while walking through a scenic grassy field, with Prince Harry following closely behind. The backdrop featured palm trees and a view of the Pacific Ocean, capturing a peaceful family moment.
