Royal expert issues warning to Meghan Markle after daughter Lilibet makes extremely rare appearance

An expert has cautioned Meghan Markle after she included a rare image of her daughter, Lilibet, on her newly rebranded lifestyle website.

Meghan, 43, recently relaunched her brand under the name As Ever, shifting focus to food, gardening, and lifestyle. The site was previously known as American Riviera Orchard, but she explained on Instagram why she made the change.

“Last year, I thought, ‘American Riviera’ sounded like a great name—it’s my neighborhood, a nickname for Santa Barbara. But it limited me to things just from this area,” she shared.

She went on to reveal a significant business move: “Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but in my business as well, which was huge. I’d been holding onto a name I secured in 2022, and now felt like the right time to share it: As Ever.”

On the website, a heartwarming image shows Lilibet walking barefoot, holding hands with Meghan through a scenic field with palm trees and the ocean in the distance. While many fans adored the moment, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams raised concerns.

“Meghan and Harry rarely allow their children to be seen,” he told Express.co.uk. “Lilibet is too young to have a say in this. When she looks back, I doubt her appearance on As Ever will be one of her favorite memories.”

Representatives for Meghan and Harry have yet to respond to inquiries.

Protecting Their Children’s Privacy

The couple has always been highly selective about sharing images of their children. Even in their Christmas card last year, Archie and Lilibet’s faces were hidden. Their last public appearance—approved by their parents—was in Harry & Meghan, the 2022 Netflix documentary, which included glimpses of the children playing at home in Montecito.

A family friend explained why they remain cautious. “Every parent wants to share their kids with the world, but they just can’t,” they told US Weekly. “William’s children have more security despite being recognizable. The same doesn’t apply to Meghan and Harry’s kids. They know people want to see them, but until that situation changes, they’ll keep their lives more private.”

Meghan herself has addressed these concerns, emphasizing the importance of protecting Archie and Lilibet from online exposure.

“Our kids are young. They’re three and five. They’re amazing,” she told CBS. “As parents, all we want is to protect them. With everything happening online, we see the work that needs to be done. We’re just happy to be part of the change for good.”
