Prince Harry & Meghan ‘unlikely’ to have a third child

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are growing up quickly, blissfully unaware of the ongoing tensions between their parents and the Royal Family. However, as they get older, it’s only a matter of time before they start asking questions.

Speculation about Harry and Meghan expanding their family has circulated for years, but Meghan has made it clear in the past: “Two is it.” Now, Harry is addressing the possibility of a third child.

Harry and Meghan’s Separate Paths

Lately, the couple has been busy with individual projects. Meghan is preparing to launch her cooking and lifestyle show on Netflix, while Harry is fully focused on the Invictus Games, currently taking place in Vancouver and Whistler.

Their decision to work separately has fueled rumors about trouble in their marriage. However, PR expert Ed Coram James suggests that their choice may be a strategic move to rebuild their public image. He explained to The Mirror that their once “distinct brand as a duo” has become “toxic” since the Oprah interview, making them less appealing to major brands.

Coram James believes separating their professional identities might be the best way forward: “When combined, the Sussexes brand is, from a PR perspective, toxic. But, when separate, they have a genuine chance of creating an entirely separate brand.”

Royal commentator Phil Dampier agrees that their separate careers may continue: “They do seem to be going their separate ways. There’s no evidence that they’re splitting up at the moment personally.”

Will Harry and Meghan Have Another Child?

The question of whether Harry and Meghan will have a third child has resurfaced. In a 2019 interview with Vogue, Harry suggested that limiting family size was important for environmental reasons. “Two, maximum!” he said, adding that he believes the world is “borrowed” and should be left in better condition for future generations.

Meghan echoed this sentiment in her 2021 Oprah interview, saying, “We got our family, we got the four of us and our two dogs.” When Oprah asked if they were done, Meghan confirmed, “Two is it.”

Harry’s Latest Thoughts on Parenthood

Now, Harry has addressed the topic again during an interview with CTV at the Invictus Games. When asked if he and Meghan might have more children, he responded, “I think one or two kids is probably enough… I definitely think that.”

He joked about larger families, saying, “I know some people who’ve got five. I just say, ‘Well, that’s your own fault!’”

Despite ruling out a third child, Harry expressed his love for fatherhood: “Having kids is amazing… it’s a journey every single day. I love the questions they ask and the experiences and challenges they give you. It’s great.”

The Invictus Games and Harry’s Personal Growth

Harry remains deeply invested in the Invictus Games, emphasizing how they help both participants and himself. “When you hear other people’s stories, you can make that connection with your own experience. There’s a lot of weight that gets taken off your shoulders.”

He acknowledged that service members often feel isolated in their struggles, but the Games provide a sense of community. “I get so much out of hearing their stories… I get my own sort of cure and confidence from them, knowing that what we’re doing is working.”

As Harry and Meghan focus on their individual careers and family, the question remains: will they ever reconcile with the Royal Family? Only time will tell.
