Fans are criticizing Donatella Versace for allegedly over-editing her photos from the Elton John charity gala, which marked the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical in London this past weekend.
The 69-year-old fashion mogul posted a series of images from the event on Instagram on Sunday, showing her in a glamorous gold sparkly mini dress. She also posed with well-known figures like Vanessa Williams, Anna Wintour, and the iconic “Rocket Man” singer himself.
Fans rapidly flooded social media with compliments for Donatella’s refreshed appearance, with numerous users drawing comparisons to other celebrities, like Lindsay Lohan, who have recently opted for “undetectable” beauty enhancements.

In one particular image, Versace appeared “unrecognizable,” as some fans pointed out in the comments section, while standing next to a black SUV.
“Donatella said new face, who this?” one person commented on X after seeing the edited photo.
Although some followers speculated that she may have undergone surgery to achieve the dramatic transformation, her face looked normal in several other pictures shared from the event.
This led fans to believe that Versace had simply used Photoshop to create a “new face” in that one photo.

In a 2010 interview, Versace expressed that she didn’t believe in a “natural” appearance for women.
“I don’t even know what my natural colour is. Natural? What is natural? What is that?” she remarked during the interview.
She further explained, “I do not believe in totally natural for women. For me, natural has something to do with vegetables.”
