Prince Harry and Meghan Markle faced a wave of online criticism after Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian quietly removed photos of the couple from Instagram.

Social media users quickly noticed that the images — taken at Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration — had been deleted, and speculation immediately followed.

“It appears that the pictures of Harry and Meghan have been scrubbed from Kris Jenner and even Kim Kardashian’s Instagrams,” one user pointed out. “Wonder why? You go to an event like that you should expect pictures to be taken… They already went so the damage has been done.”

Speculation Over Why the Photos Were Removed

Another commenter suggested the Sussexes might have “desperately pleaded” with the reality stars to “take them down” due to “Remembrance weekend and the backlash,” referring to the UK’s period honoring military service. Prince Harry had acknowledged the occasion at the party by wearing a red poppy.

Others argued the Kardashians themselves chose to delete the pictures. One critic wrote, “Meghan Markle lured her husband away because she wants to live a ‘private life’ yet desperately tries to hang out with a-listers in Hollywood…”

The user went on, “It’s so embarrassing that even Kim Kardashian deleted this photo, not wanting to be associated with her.”

Another theory suggested fame dynamics were to blame: “Honestly seems like Kimmy deleted them because they were getting more attention than anyone else in the carousel.”

What Was Posted — and Then Deleted

Jenner originally uploaded a carousel of images from the celebration, including one where she posed with the “Suits” alum, 44, and Harry, 41. That photo later disappeared from her page.

Kim Kardashian, 45, also shared a picture with Markle — which was similarly removed.

Harry and Meghan were photographed arriving hand in hand at the star-studded event, held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $175 million mansion in Beverly Hills.

Their appearance did not sit well with some royal insiders, who criticized the couple’s attendance at such a lavish Hollywood affair.

“It’s so tacky,” one palace source told Page Six. “It truly shows that Harry is so far removed from the rest of the family.”
